Factory Defaults
Overview
Factory Defaults restore all drive parameters to the original settings programmed at the factory.
This can be useful when commissioning a new drive, troubleshooting unexpected behaviour, or returning the drive to a known starting point
Warning
Restoring Factory Defaults will erase all application-specific, commissioning and user-entered parameter settings.
Before You Start
Before restoring Factory Defaults:
Ensure the drive is stopped.
Record any parameter settings that may need to be re-entered.
Ensure it is safe for the application to be recommissioned after the reset.
Restore Factory Defaults
To restore the original factory default parameter set:
Hold ▲ + ▼ + Stop + Run keypad keys
Continue holding the keys until the display shows P-def.
Release the keys.
The drive restores the factory default parameter set.
What Happens When Factory Defaults Are Restored?
All adjustable parameters are reset to the factory settings.
Any saved application commissioning settings are removed.
The drive will require recommissioning before operation.

Will restoring Factory Defaults delete my User/OEM Defaults? | Yes, doing a factory reset will reset all values. To reset the drive to the User/OEM defaults, press ▲ + ▼ + Stop. |
