Starting & Stopping
The drive supports multiple operating modes, allowing the drive to be started and stopped using the keypad, control terminals, communications networks, application functions and external control systems.
The source of the run command is determined by the configured control source and associated settings.
Control Source Selection
The primary control method is selected using P-12.0 - Control Source.
This parameter determines where the drive receives its run and stop commands from.

When P-12.0 is configured for keypad operation, P-12.4 - Keypad Mode Start Source determines how the drive is started and stopped while operating in keypad mode.
This allows the keypad operating behaviour to be adapted to application requirements and user preferences.

When P-12.0 is configured for network operation, P-12.3 - Active Communications Network is used to select the communications interface that will control the drive.
Once selected, run/stop commands and speed references can be received from the active network.
