Acceleration & Deceleration Ramps
From defaults the drive has the following ramp profile.
Note
The Acceleration time (P-03.0) is the time taken (in seconds) to go from zero speed to motor rated Frequency (P-09), and has a default value of 5.0 s.
The Deceleration time (P-04.0) is the time (in seconds) taken to go from motor rated Frequency (P-09) to zero speed during a speed reference change, and has a default value of 5.0 s.
The Deceleration time (P-04.1) is the time taken (in seconds) to go from motor rated Frequency (P-09) to zero speed when a stop command is received, and has a default value of 0.0 s ( A values of 0.00 means P-04.0 is always used).
In the case of a brake resistor not been used the deceleration time will automatically extend to prevent an Over-voltage trip from occurring.
If required then dual Acceleration ramps are available as shown in the image below :

Set the required Acceleration time 1 into parameter P-03.0
Set the required Acceleration time 2 into parameter P-03.1
Set the speed in which you want to change from Acceleration ramp time 1 to Acceleration ramp time 2 into parameter P-03.2.
S-Ramps are a way of gradually increasing and decreasing motor speed smoothly, instead of changing speed sharply.
