Running the Motor from the Keypad Speed Reference

Action

Guidance

Check that it is safe for the motor to turn

  • Ensure that when the motor shaft rotates no damage to machinery will occur.

  • Ensure that no injuries can occur when the motor shaft rotates.

Enable keypad mode

  • Set P-12.0 to PAd-2.

This enables the drive start command and speed set-point to come from the drive keypad.
