UPS Overview

Functional differences in Rescue Mode with a UPS Supply

During Rescue Mode operation some features are disabled/altered. Below is a list of drive features that are different in Rescue Mode with a UPS Supply to normal mains supply operation.

Starting the Drive

To run the drive in Rescue Mode the following terminals must be closed:

  • Safe Torque Off Terminals STO1 & STO2

  • Direction function Digital Input (normally DI1 or DI2)

DC Injection at Start/Stop
